Careers in Maths Talk

SESSIONS BOOKABLE ON DEMAND BY INDIVIDUAL SCHOOLS
(This session can be delivered to individual schools by request. A minimum of two weeks' notice is required)
Students must be accompanied by their teacher. The session is open to Year 10 or Year 11 and Year 12 students
Students will be given an insight into how specific Mathematics topics are used in real life,
examples of careers where Mathematics-rich degrees are required, university ratings and university entry requirements.
It will address questions such as:
- What do Mathematicians do all day?
- Applied and Pure Mathematics. What difference do they make to your career?
- Update on university entry requirements. How to choose your future university and make A-level choices
